Veteran Argentine is now at the helm of Uruguay and will be looking to guide them to success in the Copa America 2024. Bielsa is known for his mercurial personality and stubbornness, but he is also a highly respected coach who has achieved success at both club and international level.

Bielsa was formally announced as Uruguay's next manager after signing a contract that will see him remain in charge until the 2026 World Cup. Bielsa has a wealth of experience in international management, having previously coached Argentina and Chile. He will be hoping to lead Uruguay to their first Copa America title since 2011.
